The catalogue itself.
Every model you own, as a grid of thumbnailed cards grouped into categories. Search across the whole library from the top bar, or drill into a category from the sidebar and follow the breadcrumbs back out.
Each card shows the model name, its file type, and a print counter you tap every time you run it. Right-click for the open-in-app menu. Drag it onto a different category in the sidebar to refile it.
- Sort by most printed, name, recently added or largest
- Multi-file projects show as one card with a file count
- Click any card to open the detail view and 3D viewer

🧹 Sweep Downloads
The import screen.
Press the button and 3D PrintVault reads your Downloads folder (and any other source you've configured), works out what's a 3D file, what's an archive worth opening, and where each thing should go.
What you get back is a plan, not a result. Every row shows the item, whether it's a loose file, a folder or a zip, and the category it's headed for. Untick what you don't want. Then apply.
Sweep is deliberately manual. There is no background watcher — nothing is
ever moved while you're not looking at it.

The staging area.
Everything a sweep brings in lands here first, already unpacked, renamed and thumbnailed — but not yet filed. The Inbox is where you decide what things actually are.
Drag a card onto a category in the sidebar and it's filed. Drag several. Or leave them — an item can sit in the Inbox indefinitely without anything happening to it.
- The sidebar badge tells you the backlog at a glance
- Preview any model in 3D before deciding where it goes
- Filing is a move like any other — journaled, undoable

🔒 Sealed folders
Your protected work.
Any folder you nominate as sealed appears here as a normal, browsable, searchable part of your library — with one difference. 3D PrintVault's file engine cannot write across its boundary.
Every card carries a lock badge. You can view models in 3D, count prints, open them in your CAD tool and search them alongside everything else. You cannot drag them out, and Sweep cannot drop anything in.
If you do want a route between the two, turn on the airlock: a single named subfolder that library models can be dropped into, and the only place files are permitted to travel back out of.

The safety net.
A plain, chronological log of every file operation 3D PrintVault has ever performed on your library, grouped into batches. Each row has an Undo button.
This is the screen that makes the rest of the app usable. You can run a sweep across a thousand files knowing that if you don't like the result, one click puts every one of them back exactly where it was.
